Dr Grieve believes that people should be treated as quickly as possible and therefore aims to see people within two weeks of the referral. We also believe in using evidence-based treatments and we specialise in the use of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy (EMDR). These treatments are used internationally and have decades of research to support their effectiveness. Treatment follows an assessment and an agreement of shared goals to be worked upon. 

Services for Young People

Dr Grieve works with young people aged between twelve to seventeen years old. We understand that this is a time of many different transitions and changes and is often a time when young people can begin to experience a range of psychological and behavioural difficulties. Dr Grieve has experience of working with young people and provides evidence-based treatments, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for a range of difficulties which is offered following a comprehensive assessment and an agreement on the goals that a person would like to work toward. Services for Adults and Older Adults

Our adult and older adults service is for anyone aged over 18 years. Dr Grieve has experience of working with people across these ages and provides evidence-based treatments, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desinsitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) for a range of difficulties and this will be done following a comprehensive assessment and an agreement on the goals that a person would like to work towards.
